Semi-Annual Book Giveaway Program begins Monday, February 2 

 The Business Information Center's semi-annual book giveaway begins February 2 until the end of the month.  We have cleared our shelves to make way for new books and once again will offer the swap shelf books to Crown Pointe tenants.  The books are available on a first come, first serve basis.  In order for all associates to have a chance to choose, please limit your selection to 3 free books.  Fiction, non-fiction, and paperback editions will be available on the special shelf at the back of the library.  Stop by early in the month for the best selection.



Southeastern Flower Show
February 4-6, 2010 - The Cobb Galleria Centre - Near Downtown Atlanta

Atlanta's Southeastern Flower Show is the area's premier horticultural event held at the The Cobb Galleria Centre near downtown. Featuring more than three acres of landscape & floral exhibitions, garden-related merchandise, photography exhibit, local and nationally known speakers, books and more.

Flower Show hours are 10 AM - 8 PM. Admission is $15 for Adults; $6 for children ages 5-15.



Precious Treasures makes Crown Pointe debut

Lela Smith will bring her Precious Treasures collection to the Business Information Center Conference Room on Thursday, Feb. 11th, 2010 from 10 am to 2 pm.  Precious Treasures features wrap skirts in silk, cotton and rayon, jewelry boxes, cosmetic accessories, mirror trays, fashion purses, costume jewelry and other collectibles. 

Come in and meet Lela and do your Valentine gift shopping.  Lela accepts cash, checks and charge cards.

Run for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
February 26, 2005 - Centennial Olympic Park - Downtown Atlanta Georgia

This 14th annual running/walking event is healthy fun for the entire family and benefits Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Courses range from the Peachtree Qualifying 10K... to the 2K family run/walk & 5K run/walk at Centennial Olympic Park. After the races... come celebrate with live music, food, awards, mascots and lots of great family fun.

2004 Run for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta events began with the 10K at 8 AM; 2K Family run/walk at 8:05 AM; 5K run/walk at 9:15 AM. 2004 race information will be available soon.


  

Leonardo da Vinci: Hand of the Genius will feature approximately 50 works, including more than 20 sketches and studies by Leonardo, some of which will be on view in the United States for the first time. 

The exhibition will examine da Vinci through three lenses: Student, Sculptor, and Mentor.
